We recommend 3 fibres per square foot when you're designing your starfield. A standard bedroom is about 10' x 10'.  This is 100 square feet.  Multiply 100 times 3 fibres per square foot and you've got an SFM-300 (300 stars).  The kit comes complete and ready to use right out of the box. 

The Collumator™ fibre optic illuminator, included with the kit, is UL 153 listed for Canada and the United States. The Collumator™ operates on 110 volts AC and draws less than 1 amp (less than a 100 watt light bulb).  We also offer a power converter for international applications.  All specifications are available when you download the manual for FREE by clicking on the Stars From Mars® icon below.
