The Collumator™ fibre optic illuminator, included with all kits, comes standard with our LIFETIME GUARANTEE!  The lamp will probably last between 2 - 5 years under normal use.  If your lamp goes out, you can replace it yourself by purchasing one from us.  Just go to Starfield Accessories and make your purchase.

Here's how your replace your own lamp:

  1. Make absolute sure you unplug the power cord from The Collumator™ fibre optic illuminator
  2. Remove the 2 screws on the long side and lift the lid
  3. Remove the 1 screw on the black lamp housing and push the ejector lever for the lamp to pop out
  4. Once the lamp is out, return the lamp ejector lever to the original position
  5. Then put the new lamp in by pushing down until it stops
  6. Replace the 1 screw on the lamp housing
  7. Replace the 2 screws on the long side
  8. Replace the power cord, turn on the unit and you're done

If you have already purchased your kit and you would like to change your lamp yourself, go to Starfield Accessories and place your order for the MR-16 Light Bulb (replacement lamp).  If you don't want to replace the lamp yourself, start by placing your order for the MR-16 Light Bulb (replacement lamp) through your shopping cart account and we will hold your order.  Then remove the "3" screws on the face plate of The Collumator™ and return just The Collumator™ to us.   When we receive The Collumator™ we will install your new lamp for FREE and return it to you.

If at anytime the illuminator does not perform perfectly, you ship it back and we will send you a brand new one, NO RECEIPTS NECESSARY, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
